LAKELAND, Florida - 05/12/2010 - Lisa Kaiser Hickey President and CEO of Douglass Screen Printers was inducted into the Paul Harris Society by being named a Paul Harris Fellow by The Lakeland Rotary Club. Paul Harris Society is named after Paul P. Harris, founder of Rotary International. In 1905 Paul Harris formed Rotary, the world's first service club, in Chicago. The Paul Harris Society recognizes Rotarians and friends of The Rotary Foundation who annually Contribute $1,000 or more to the Annual Programs Fund. Foundation programs such as PolioPlus and PolioPlus Partners Fund directly support immunization campaigns in developing countries. Thanks to the Humanitarian Grant Program wells are being dug to provide clean water to a community in India, books and computers for a children's library in Ecuador, and eyeglass for under privileged seniors and adults in the Philippines.
