Lane Hickey is the Marketing Executive of Douglass Screen Printers, Inc.; a screen and digital printing company based in Lakeland, Florida. Douglass Screen Printers has acquired over half a century of printing experience since its humble beginnings in 1939. In 2007 the firm was named in DiversityBusiness.com's Top 500 Women-Owned Businesses in the United States and Top 100 Diversity-Owned Businesses in Florida. Douglass Screen Printers is also ranked as a Top 50 Printer to the U.S. Government Printing Office.
Ms. Hickey is a member of several local organizations including Polk County AdFed,
Kiwanis, and the Chambers of Commerce for Lakeland and Winter Haven. She works extensively with elementary-aged children through Kiwanis' K-Kids program and volunteers annual with the Lake Mirror Classic car show.
Ms. Hickey enjoys reading extensively, traveling, networking and socializing. She also enjoys spending time with her fiancé, family and animals.
Ms. Hickey began her career at Douglass Screen Printers in 2005 as a receptionist on the client relations team and moved to the marketing department as a representative in 2007. She has been responsible for the direction of the marketing department since 2008.
Ms. Hickey is a graduate of George Jenkins High School. She holds an A.A. in Business Administration from Polk Community College and is a senior pursuing a BFA in Art History at Savannah College of Art & Design. Ms. Hickey has interned at Polk Museum of Art in Lakeland and the Telfair Museum of Savannah. |
