Ryan Gierman is the Art Director for Douglass Screen Printers, Inc.; a screen and digital printing company based in Lakeland, Florida. Douglass Screen Printers has acquired over half a century of printing experience since its humble beginnings in 1939. In 2007 the firm was named in DiversityBusiness.com's Top 500 Women-Owned Businesses in the United States and Top 100 Diversity-Owned Businesses in Florida. Douglass Screen Printers is also ranked as a Top 50 Printer to the U.S. Government Printing Office.
Mr. Gierman began his journey with Douglass Screen Printers in 2004 as a Graphic Artist and helped pioneer the firm's digital printing and finishing capabilities as the technology was emerging in the industry. In 2007, Mr. Gierman helped the firm open a remote office to house the latest in digital printing and cutting, and he operated the office for four years. In 2011 he assumed responsibilities as Art Director over both offices Art Departments. Today, Mr. Gierman continues his research in the field of digital printing to help ensure the firm’s capabilities remain state of the art.
Mr. Gierman has a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design from Florida Southern College, in Lakeland, Florida.
In his free time, Mr. Gierman enjoys reading about history, weight-lifting, creating digital painting, traditional art and spending quality time with family and friends. |
