“I am committed to advancing role equality throughout the world.  It is critical for women to be financially able to sustain themselves independently, and it is also critical that women have the educational and social confidence to assume roles of equality.  I have been pursuing these [roles] at the adult level; however, I am now ready to turn my focus on emergent women...Girl Scouts, among others.” –Hickey
