Lisa Kaiser Hickey Attends 55th FCEM World Congress in Cairo, Egypt

This past Thanksgiving break, Lisa Kaiser Hickey, President & CEO of Douglass Screen Printers and National President of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), participated in the 55th les Femmes Chefs d’Enterprises Mondiales (FCEM) World Congress in Cairo, Egypt.
Five hundred women business owners from fifty-two countries gathered to discuss and focus on: Economic Women Empowerment; The Role of Business Women in Social Development; Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs); New Methods of Finance; Women Innovation; and Women in Trade & Marketing. The program also included Match Making Meetings and an Exhibition. Hickey went as the US delegate.
“What is really great about the congress is that women come from all over the world to discuss access to capital and social and political advocacy. I believe that our primary role in is to help mentor other women business owners from around the world to have the same kind of success that we have here in the United States,” Hickey said. She was invited to represent North America as a Regional Commissioner.
