Douglass Screen Printers, Inc.
On June 6, 2007, Douglass Screen
Printers is excited to welcome Eva Muraya, the CEO of Color Creations
Limited, a medium-sized company that develops screen-printed and
embroidered advertisement and promotional products using a mix of
manual labor and automation in Nairobi, Kenya.
Lisa Kaiser Hickey, Douglass Screen
Printers’ President and CEO, met Ms. Muraya through the National
Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and serves as her mentor.
Ms. Muraya is a founding member of the Kenya Women’s Entrepreneurship
Board and KAWBO (the Kenya Association of Women Business Owners).
She and two of her fellow entrepreneurs will be attending the NAWBO
Annual Meeting in Atlanta, June 1-3, 2007, to meet women from around
the world who have the same passion for creating employment and
wealth and who have made an impact in their communities.
Mrs. Hickey’s local Lakeland Metro
chapter of NAWBO, along with two other US chapters have sponsored
Eva’s visit and will have the opportunity to meet Ms. Muraya at
Douglass Screen Printers, where she can also personally thank them
for their sponsorship.
