Douglass Screen Printers recently attended an Adobe Photoshop Conference in Kansas. This conference was in part a seminar as well that discussed how to build a Photoshop-friendly system by setting up dialog boxes and user preferences that would allow you to change the way that Photoshop looks and functions so that you would be able to configure Photoshop for optimum performance and manageability. Also covered were Photoshop Essentials which explained how to edit photos by retouching, image editing and color painting.

Other topics discussed were 1) scanning issues and how to properly scan items into Photoshop, 2) how to adjust pixel dimensions and resolution for images that were not as clear as they should be, 3) how the most important color concept underlying your work in Photoshop is that of primary colors, red, green and blue which make up the RGB model, 4) the CMYK model which is cyan, magenta and yellow, 5) how to use Photoshop as a creative tool, 6) how to tap into the creative power of this program, 7) how to get great color every time you use this program, 8) the use of pantone color systems and how to incorporate them into the software, and much more.

If you need information regarding this software, or just have questions regarding the program’s capabilities and uses, please visit www.adobe.com.
