Lisa Kaiser Hickey recognized by the Lakeland Chapter of NAWBO

On May 10, 2005 the
Lakeland Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners
(NAWBO) held their annual awards dinner. Lisa Kaiser Hickey, President
and CEO of Douglass Screen Printers, received the President’s award
in recognition of her contributions to the chapter throughout the
year. Mrs. Hickey and Douglass Screen Printers were awarded the
Corporate Partner’s award for their continued support of NAWBO’s
mission and vision statements which are to propel women entrepreneurs
into economic, social, and political spheres of power worldwide.
Mrs. Hickey and Douglass Screen Printers have demonstrated support
for NAWBO by:
1. Providing financial
and advisory support.
2. Fostering the economic growth and stability.
3. Strengthening, and enhancing NAWBO’s place in the local and
state business community.
4. Developing initiatives to help women-owned businesses and
efforts to increase the public’s understanding of their importance
to the local and state economy.
On June 2nd, NAWBO held
its first annual Women of Distinction Awards ceremony. The Women
of Distinction award was given to Lisa Kaiser Hickey in recognition
of her commitment in empowering women to excel in our community
by, being contributing members of their business or organization,
and being active participants in our community. Congratulations
to Lisa Kaiser Hickey and Douglass Screen Printers, Inc.
