Some of our former publications described the stenciling concepts fundamental to screen-printing that were developed by Chinese artisans many centuries ago. However, you may not know that the six essentials of painting are also attributed to the Chinese.

Our current contest challenges you to name the Chinese artist that identified the six "essentials" of painting, and also to name the six essentials.
